Twin Peaks Retrospective Flyer Giveaway!

Let me preface this by saying: I don't have a ton of these, so I won't be able to accommodate everyone. But, if you are already a follower of mine on Twitter, and you love Twin Peaks...

I have some extra Twin Peaks Retrospective color flyers for the series that I am willing to send to other fans. They are two-sided card stock, lots of iconic imagery from the show, very cool! The flyers are 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches. Ideally I would love to just mail them to everyone but I think that might get a little expensive for me, especially mailing them to international fans. So I am willing to send you ONE card if you send me an envelope that is all ready to post.

If you would like one, please follow the instructions below:
1) Contact me by sending me a message through this site or Twitter. I will need to send you a PO BOX address.

2) You will then need to send me a self addressed, stamped envelope that is large enough to accommodate the card (which is 8 1/2 x 5 1/2 inches in size).

3) After you drop your self addressed, stamped envelope in the mail to me, please send me a confirmation that you have done so by posting in the comments section below. That way I know it's coming and can keep an eye out for it. I also will be able to keep a running count of how many flyers I have left.

For the time being, this is how it will go. If I can get more and I don't get overwhelmed with requests, I will try to accommodate others. If you really are a die hard fan, let me know. We can probably work something out. :)

We Love Britain Geeky Gift Exchange!

Since we didn't get the chance to do one last year, I thought we might try a couple new things this year... I am doing a theme and am splitting the craft from the gift portion. You are welcome to participate in both, but I am conducting them as two separate exchanges.

UPDATE: If you would like to add another fandom or want more flexibility in some other way, please post below. If people are game then we can alter the exchange. Right now I am considering doing an exchange pairing with US/UK matches. That way our UK buddies can send over real UK items and we could send US based items from 3 different US TV/FILM fandoms. Please post any ideas/suggestions below. Thanks!

The theme for this year is We Love Britain! Primarily I'd like to keep this a love fest for Harry Potter, Doctor Who and Sherlock. If people wanted to branch out and add other British things, then please let me know and we'll possibly alter the fandoms or expand them.

Geeky Gift Exchange 1 (Non-Craft): Start time would be now, due to your exchange buddy by April
If you want to participate in this exchange, your item(s) will need to be something purchased, i.e. something that is mass produced. I will allow items that are produced on CafePress, TeeFury, etc. I also will allow Comic Con items as they can be purchased on ebay and other sites.

The item(s) need to be worth $10-15 original retail price. Please do not send someone items that do not equal this amount and please do not send items that are over this amount. Last time we had people who went overboard and spent double what they were supposed to and then other people received half of what they were supposed to. I want this to be as fair as possible for everyone, so PLEASE abide by this $10-15 ONLY rule.

If you want to participate, please post the following information in the comments below:

1) Put the three fandoms in order of your favorite to least favorite.
2) Please list your favorite characters, locations, books, stories, villians, etc. - The more detailed you are, the easier it will be for your exchange partner to tailor your present to you.
OPTIONAL:
3) Please list anything you do NOT like from any of the fandoms (i.e. characters, books, movies, school houses, etc.). - If you don't care and would generally be happy with anything from the fandom, then please post that as well.
4) What do you collect (if you collect a lot of different things from the fandoms, then please list your favorites or maybe things you don't have a lot of).

Geeky Gift Exchange 2 (Craft Only): start time would be now, due to your exchange buddy by July
If you want to participate in this exchange, your item(s) will need to be something handmade, i.e. something that either you made yourself, or someone else handcrafted. It cannot be something sold in stores, with the exception being etsy and other craft sites.

I am giving a much longer time frame for this exchange as I want to be sure people who are crafting the items themselves have enough time to finish.

4) Please list anything in particular you might be interested in getting/stuff you like to collect or buy off etsy for the fandoms (for example, prop replicas, jewelry, etc.)

Used Book and DVD Exchange

Things were a little busy last year and we didn't get around to having another geeky gift exchange. I thought we'd start this year off with a bang and set up several different exchanges to run throughout the year plus a couple new things...

This is the first in the new things I thought we might try for fun. A straight book for book or DVD for DVD exchange! Any extra books or DVDs you have lying around will do. Media mail postage through the USPS is pretty cheap so this is something that won't cost much but might be a fun way to read/watch new things and/or add books/DVDs to your collections. I do a lot of used book shopping, so my list will always include vintage stuff as well that you could only find on places like ebay. Feel free to include a wide variety of items yourself.

If you want to participate in the BOOK exchange, please post in the comments section below:
1) The book titles you have that you wish to trade
2) Please make sure to list whether the books are paperback or hardcover
3) Please include your wish list of book titles/series, and/or favorite authors and genres

If you want to participate in the DVD exchange, please post in the comments section below:
